NZWTA Textiles and Materials Testing is New Zealand’s leading independent testing facility, providing a comprehensive and reliable service to the textile industry, academic organisations, CRI’s and the general public.
Our laboratory offers a diverse range of specialised textile testing equipment and technology, and is operated by our team of highly-competent and experienced technicians. We regularly assess and update our processes and standards, in line with global innovation and compliance specifications, industry-specific, New Zealand and international standards.
Our NZWTA Textiles and Materials Testing team can assist with a huge range of material and textiles test requirements, covering measures such as retroreflection, flammability, chemical and pesticide measures, safety, density and performance. IANZ accredited, NZWTA Materials and Textiles Testing can test to a variety of the established methods (e.g. ISO, IWTO, AS, NZS) and standards set by specific organisations, such as the New Zealand Building Code, NZTA Waka Kotahi, NZFOA and The Carpet Institute of Australia.
Our lab tests a wide range of products, materials and components to assess and affirm standards and specifications, or for regulatory compliance. Our team are happy to offer advice and guidance to ensure the right textile testing is undertaken.
